I thought in the first half we were a little bit slow but we got into the game in the second half and dominated it. “Again, football is just about taking chances and we had a lot of final third entries today. I thought the quality in the final third wasn’t there. “You can only give players the options of what to do and you give them thoughts in their head in game scenarios, but it’s down to the individual to make that decision. “It’s all about a learning curve in academy football. Should we have won? Yes. Are there loads of positives? Yes, chances created. Probably the only negative is we need to take those chances when we’re given them.”
